This course is suitable for Learners who are at Elementary Level.

This course gives Learners the opportunity of practicing their oral English skills in a conversational manner. It focuses on fluency for everyday situations.

Web Design

Web Design – This course is an advanced course, we would recommend each person complete IT Skills QQI Level 4 and Computer Applications QQI Level 4 before progressing on to this course. The person will attend for 2 hours per week. This course covers the following –

  • Design a basic website to a maximum of two pages
  • Insert basic HTML tags
  • Format text to include bold, italics, font size, font colour
  • Format page layout to include centre, background colour and background
  • Apply RGB colour system
  • Create ordered and unordered lists
  • Insert hyperlinks, and images or graphics
  • Use a paper based system and a computer system to enter and retrieve data
  • Save webpage as HTML file
  • Preview webpage in internet browser
  • Print finished website
